Report to ITEMA Weaving and Knitting CEO and Vice President of Operation in Euro, manage overall ITEMA China facility, including engineering, sourcing, logistics, quality, EHS, production, subsidiary plant, facility, knitting operation, export business and HR (and finance, MIS, commercial and service at an administrative reporting level)

Achievements:

- Rebuilt and localized management team within operations and engineering to enhance Itema present in China
- Developed staff competencies and promoted team work spirit, built up and maintained high performance team to achieve operation excellent
- Deployed KPI and Implemented manufacturing measurement system as dynamic shop floor management tool for continuous improvement (linked to employee appraise system)
- Led team to drive change, cleaning up aging issues and process re-engineering, including achieve 99.8% net inventory accuracy and transforme from batch production to flow line process with 20% efficiency improvement
- Reorganized supply chain and drive cost reduction and better buy program to offset commodity inflation and achieve 5% material productivity on local material in 2007, and built up transparent costing system with local suppliers and strong partnership with key suppliers
- Led team to address quality concerns from field site and improve product quality significantly through enhancing technical know-how, supplier quality enhancement, key component in-sourcing, process control and etc
- Execution of group business unit restructuring in China, enhanced operation in Shanghai (Songjiang) as strong base and merged other BU activities in Shanghai (Knitting operation, group different sector sourcing office and service team, etc), and reduced HC over 40% in 2008 through resource optimization

- Led team for the execution of new product transfer and phase in of airjet weaving machine L88 and existing product upgrade of rapier weaving machine R880 with strong support from Euro engineering team from 2008

- Execution of enhancing global supply chain in China, consolidating local supplier base and enhancing present in low cost sourcing region such as Chongqing for further cost down
- Build up QMS to align with Group QMS to be certified by DNV by the end of 2009
